As the premier dance academy of Bergen County, we focus on enriching the lives of each student through the journey of dance. At DDA, we offer a wide variety of class options for the beginner or aspiring professional ages 2.5 years -adult. Our highly accredited and dedicated instructors teach students to engage in various forms of dance in a fun and encouraging environment.

OUR STORY
DDA Dance Academy was founded by director, Deana Gentile, in 2009.
As a child, it was my life long dream to open my very own dance school. Following in my mother’s own passion for dance, I began to dedicate my life to following this dream. I started dancing myself at 3 years old and continued through graduating from the University of Arizona, one of the top 5 dance programs in the country, with a degree in photography and dance. From there, I continued my dance education at Broadway Dance Center in NYC. Through combining my love for children and passion for dance, I was able to achieve my goal. It is my greatest accomplishment to watch children experience the joy of dance. DDA OVER THE YEARS
2009-2010
DDA Dance Academy provided dance instruction to private schools and daycares.
2010-2014
We branched to our 1st established location in Maywood, NJ at the Knights of Columbus. Since our 1st year of 29 students, we proudly began to grow.
2014-present
Established our own facility in 2014 in Paramus where we have continued to expand and thrive from 3 studios to 6, 100+ classes every week in various styles of dance, and over 800 students
